Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is a famous American actor and producer who has gained recognition for her stellar performances in films including Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Piano, as well as The Incredibles. Holly Hunter has won numerous awards, including her first Oscar for her role in the film Piano. Her acting career began on Broadway with a variety of Broadway as well as Off Broadway initiatives. In her early years, Helen Keller was her most loved character from a fifth grade show. Mumps led her to lose hearing in one her ears, but this did not stop her from fulfilling her dream. The college she attended was drama before moving between Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania to New York City to follow her dreams. Hunter was trapped in an elevator with the playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart which marked Hunter's Broadway debut. The first time she appeared in a film was after she relocated in Los Angeles. Since then she has appeared in a variety of shows and TV films throughout a span of over three decades. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and she also received her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
